What is the process of hydrafacial?

• A special hydrafacial probe is used with serum . It sucks out the impurities, deposits, dirt, oil from the skin pores and at the same time releases hydrating serum for your skin to nourish and hydrate it .Through this process it rejuvenates and repairs the skin.

• Different serums are used according to your skin type and skin concern.

  • If there is dry skin then serum with hyaluronic acid is infused in your skin primarily.

  • If you suffer from oily skin then salicylic acid is used with previous hyaluronic acid.  This serum with sebum control property helps in reducing acne and excess oil. This is used mainly on the T zone and chin . It also helps in removal of blackheads , whiteheads and comedones.

  • To target anti-ageing glycolic acid along with hyaluronic acid is used. Glycolic acid has keratolytic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. . It also stimulates the collagen formation which gives the skin new elasticity and also reduces fine wrinkles.

What are the steps of Hydrafacial ?

• First step is cleansing which cleans the face of dust and make up.

• Then a hydrafacial probe with serum in sequential order is used.The serums are chosen depending on what the skin needs like hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid.

• Then an ultrasonic cleaning tool is used to scrape and remove any dead /stubborn cells if left.

• After putting on a lubricant,  an ultrasound and radiofrequency probe is used to bio stimulate cells. This causes collagen induction and stimulates the deeper layers of skin to cause an anti-ageing effect.

• A cold probe is used to close the pores to let the hyaluronic acid sink in.

• Lastly some moisturiser and sunscreen is put on the skin to protect the skin.
